Winter in Niagara
The camera buff loves winter in Niagara, photographing those crisp scenes at Balls Falls, Niagara Falls or The Bruce Trail. There is nothing like snow on a tree branch, ice on a fence or people tobogganing.
Some years, there's little snow and some years, there's an abundance of snow and ice which sparkle with beauty, especially on cold sunny days. Popular landmarks within the Niagara Peninsula, like Balls Falls, Niagara Falls and the Bruce Trail, invite a lot of picture taking on those cold sunny days. Icewine is a favourite product with Niagara Region wineries during the winter. Though the flow of tourists has slowed down during the winter months, there are still great sights to see at Port Dalhousie, Niagara-on-the-Lake and Niagara Falls.
